Can I change the show time, seats, movie, date, venue that I have booked for?


  • If you are a superstar customer, you can cancel your tickets under ‘Purchase History’  Terms and conditions apply.  We now also have a cancellation feature available for a wide range of cinemas wherein you can get back 70% of your ticket amount if you cancel your tickets 4 hours prior to the show time. You will see this option under the cinema name while booking your tickets on the app/website. A cancellation for rest of the cinemas is currently unavailable. However, the good news is that we are in process of on-boarding these cinemas to enable the cancellation option for you.



 

For cinemas with a Cancellation Feature:


You can now cancel the tickets booked for the movie 4 hours prior to show time in these simple steps:


  • Login on website/application from your registered email address
  • Click on Hamburger option (right bottom corner)and select Purchase history from Application or Booking history (right top corner)
  • Select your booking, Click on it to scroll down to Cancellation option.
  • Click on Confirm. The refund will be done according to the Cancellation policy.



Terms for Cancellation


  • You can't cancel a ticket(s) if you have applied an offer code, payback or any other loyalty points.
  • On cancellation of ticket(s), the Internet handling charges, BookASmile amount and payment gateway charges (if applicable) will not be refunded.
  • The cancellation can only be done up to 4 hours before the show time.
  • On cancellation of ticket(s), 30% of base ticket(s) price will be deducted as cancellation fee and remaining will be refunded to you.
  • If you opt for refund on any other payment source - Credit card/Debit card or Net banking, the amount will take upto 7-10 days to get credited into your account.
  • The cancellation feature will not be available where users splits a transaction with others.
  • BookMyShow reserves the right to discontinue this feature either in part or fully at any time.
  • BMS reserves the right to modify/add/alter/revise or otherwise carry out any necessary changes to these terms and conditions and/or the cancellation feature (either wholly or in part)
  • These terms and conditions are in addition to the terms and conditions and the privacy policy available here (https://in.bookmyshow.com/terms-and-conditions).
  • Food and Beverages purchase is fully refunded.
  • To avail cancellation, you should be logged in to your Bookmyshow account while booking the ticket and while cancelling the ticket with the same account.






Note: To avail the cancellation feature, the user needs to be logged in while transacting. Cancellation feature available for selected cinema only.



For SuperStar Customers:

You can now cancel the tickets booked for the movie 4 hours prior to show time in these simple steps:

  • Login on website/application from your registered email address
  • Click on Hamburger option (right bottom corner)and select SuperStar and click on Cancellation


Important Terms for Superstar Cancellation


1. You're allowed upto a maximum of two booking cancellations per annum (one every 6 months, calculated as per your Superstar program on-boarding date).

2. You are eligible to cancel 1 booking till 23 Aug, 2018

3. An amount of upto INR 1250 per cancellation will be refunded to the source of payment in 7-10 days. The breakup of the refund will be shown once you request for cancellation

4. On cancellation of ticket, the Internet handling charges and the additional fee charged will not be refunded

5. Applied Offers will not be refunded

6. Any valid F&B offers will also be cancelled

7. Cancellation is applicable only for movie bookings

8. Cancellation is not applicable on special screenings & premiers of movies

9. Tickets need to be cancelled at least four hours prior to the show.

10. In case of any unethical activity, BookMyShow reserves the right to invalidate you from the Superstar program.
