I have a confirmed ticket, can I cancel it?


Traditionally, cinema halls did not offer cancellation of confirmed tickets. However, a wide range of cinemas now provides cancellation of tickets while retaining a minor portion of the ticket value.

Cinema cancellation is available either 20 minutes/2 hours/4 hours prior to the showtime, depending on cinema-to-cinema. Eligible Superstar users can cancel their transactions via the same flow up to 2 hours prior, regardless of whether the cinema offers cancellation or not.



So is my ticket eligible for cancellation?


To know if a transaction is eligible for cancellation, refer to the SMS/Email/WhatsApp confirmation. 
Also, once you've logged in to the app/website via the same credentials, you can find the cancellation option by selecting the transaction under 'Profile' - 'Purchase History'.


User transactions having offers/promotional codes applied are ineligible for cancellation,

The confirmation says I can cancel, why I can't find the cancel option?


1) Users need to log in with their email address used to transact to see the cancellation option.

2) Depending on cinema-to-cinema cancellation is available 20 minutes/2 hours/4 hours prior to the show start.

3) App users need to make sure the latest available app version is in use.



The confirmation says I cannot cancel the ticket, what now?


We suggest users login to the app with the email address and look for the 'Cancel' button under 'Profile' - 'Purchase History'. If the cancellation is provided by the cinema, the option to do so is forwarded to you.

If you still don't see the cancellation option, and your confirmation says you cant cancel, we're afraid the transaction cannot be modified/reversed as per the cinema rules.
