Tickets purchased for BookMyShow Live Events are typically non-cancellable and non-refundable. However, now, if you're unable to attend an event, the ‘List on Marketplace’ feature allows you to securely list your BookMyShow Live Event tickets directly through the app for purchase by a new customer. You can list your tickets at the same price you paid, ensuring they don’t go to waste. This feature provides a legitimate way of finding new customers for your tickets, preventing unauthorized or black-marketing of tickets or ticket(s) scalping by unscrupulous parties, minimizing payment disputes and fraudulent transactions. By providing such a facility, BookMyShow ensures the existence, and safety of the listed tickets for the new customers.
An advantage of listing your ticket with BookMyShow is its large user base which can be leveraged to list your tickets, enabling other customers who are looking for tickets on BookMyShow, to book the listed tickets by making payments. Upon booking being made by the new customer, your tickets will be cancelled and a refund will be issued to you, and a fresh ticket will be issued to the new customer with a fresh booking id.
The ‘List on Marketplace’ facility also offers fans and patrons a chance to attend a Live Event when primary standard tickets are sold out, by purchasing verified tickets listed by other users.
The tickets can be listed up to 3 hours before the show and will remain listed until 3 hours before the show start time.
